GD Timber Designs is a small family business run by James Godman-Dorington and his wife Claire.
They started their business building heavy duty, bespoke stables and field shelters and launched a range of painted timber buildings under the brand name Cock-A-Hoop!
To date they have supplied play houses to schools in Yorkshire, Sussex and Bath. Their buildings are now installed as far afield as France, Munich, North Wales, the Isle of Wight and Jersey.
All buildings are made using high grade, FSC sourced, pressure treated timber for durability and strength and can be supplied unpainted and flat packed if required, as well as being painted in any colour you wish.
James and Claire work closely with their clients on a one to one basis to ensure they achieve the best building for their requirements and budget. With a practical farming and engineering background and with a young active family heavily involved with ponies, chickens and dogs they have a wealth of knowledge to help understand their Clients requirements and design structures that are exciting, durable, strong, safe and fun and (just as importantly) to look great in your garden or paddock! After an initial consultation with James, either in person or over the phone, he will work with his team to design, construct and install your building from start to finish.
'As all our buildings are bespoke and hand made to order we can accommodate any design or alterations to size and style.'
